FAQ

What does £4.00 buy?

One payment, no subscription: unlimited erases and saving at full photo size, in the browser you paid on (works in up to 3 browsers with Restore). The free try is 2 erases and a small 800 px save.

Where does my photo go?

Nowhere. The erasing runs on your device and your photo is never uploaded. The only downloads are the app itself and the eraser model (about 200 MB, fetched once from Hugging Face and kept in your browser). Payment is handled by Stripe; we only check with Stripe that you paid. The eraser model downloads from Hugging Face. THATCHED keeps an anonymous count of page views and free uses, and anonymous error reports. Payment is handled by Stripe when you choose to pay.

Which browsers work?

Recent Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on a laptop or desktop. Phones work too, but an erase can take a minute and older phones may run out of memory.

Can I get a refund?

Digital goods: access starts straight away, so the 14-day cancellation right ends once you start using it. If something is broken, email business@thatched.ai.
