Unvoice Runs in your browser · nothing is uploaded

Make a recording stop sounding like you.

Drop in a voice note, interview or clip. Unvoice finds where someone is talking, reshapes their pitch and the colour of their voice, and leaves the rest of the audio as it was.

What it changes

  1. Finds the speech. It measures loudness against the background noise of your recording and marks every stretch where someone is talking.
  2. Moves the pitch. The voice goes up or down without speeding up or slowing down.
  3. Reshapes the voice colour. The resonances that make a voice recognisable (formants) are pushed to new places, so it is not just your voice played lower.

Be realistic: a changed voice still says the same words. Names, places, accent and turns of phrase can identify someone too. Listen to the result before you share it.

Unvoice, full version

A plain pitch shift can sometimes be reversed by shifting it back. The full version adds Scramble, a random disguise that drifts slowly through the recording and is different every time. It also lifts the 30-second limit, gives you unlimited goes and lets you drop in several files at once.
