What does it do?
Reads the words in a screenshot or photo (15 languages) so you can copy them.
What does the price buy?
£4.00, paid once, no subscription. It unlocks unlimited images, several images in one go, and saving as a .txt file. The first 3 images are free to try.
Where does my data go?
Nowhere. Your images are read inside this page and are never uploaded. Only the language and reader files are downloaded the first time. Payment is handled by Stripe, and a small script from our payments helper confirms a purchase and keeps an anonymous page-view and free-use count.
Which browsers work?
Current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, on phone or computer. HEIC photos are not readable by most browsers, so use PNG or JPEG.
Can I get a refund?
Digital goods: access starts straight away, so the 14-day cancellation right ends once you start using it. If something is broken, email business@thatched.ai.
Privacy: your images never leave this device. THATCHED keeps an anonymous count of page views and free uses, and anonymous error reports. Payment is handled by Stripe when you choose to pay. Made by THATCHED LTD. The first image downloads the reader (about 7 MB); your browser keeps it after that. Reading engine: Tesseract (Apache-2.0).
