FAQ

What does the £4.00 buy?
One payment, no subscription. Unlimited card scans in this browser (and up to 3 browsers with the restore code), plus exporting your whole list in one .vcf or .csv file. The first 3 cards are free to try.
Where is my data kept?
The photo is read inside your browser and never uploaded. Saved cards stay in this browser's storage only. The only thing that goes over the network is the payment check: Stripe handles the payment and our checker asks Stripe whether it went through. Card contents are never sent. THATCHED keeps an anonymous count of page views and free uses, and anonymous error reports. Payment is handled by Stripe when you choose to pay.
Which browsers work?
Current Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on phones and computers. iPhone HEIC files saved to Files may not open; taking the photo from this page works.
Can I get a refund?
Digital goods: access starts straight away, so the 14-day cancellation right ends once you start using it. If something is broken, email business@thatched.ai.

The photo never leaves this page. The reading engine (Tesseract, Apache-2.0) runs in your browser, so the first scan downloads about 4 MB once, then works offline.
