FAQ: common questions
What does it do?
Converts length, mass, temperature, volume and more, with live results as you type. Twelve categories in all.
What does the price buy?
£2.99 once: every category (12 in all) and saved favourites, forever. No subscription. The free try lets you open 3 categories.
Where is my data kept?
Everything stays in your browser. Conversions run on your device and nothing you type is sent anywhere. The page also loads a small script from our payments helper, which keeps an anonymous page-view and free-use count and checks a purchase. Payment goes through Stripe.
Which browsers work?
Any current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari, on phone or computer. After the first visit it also works offline.
Can I get a refund?
Digital goods: access starts straight away, so the 14-day cancellation right ends once you start using it. If something is broken, email business@thatched.ai. Already paid on another device? Use "Already paid? Restore".
Privacy: no accounts, and what you convert stays on your device. THATCHED keeps an anonymous count of page views and free uses, and anonymous error reports. Payment is handled by Stripe when you choose to pay. Made by THATCHED LTD.
